I know it’s been a minute since I’ve posted, but you all are keeping me extremely busy during the day. I know that you’re desperately seeking summer job opportunities, which is why I am taking time out of my busy Sunday afternoon. Yes, believe it or not, Mrs. Cain isn’t sitting around chillin on the weekends. There’s house cleaning, laundry, dinner, and more. Okay so you’re not interested in that stuff, so below are a few opportunities that you need to jump on ASAP! Like RIGHT NOW… ONLINE… This isn’t everything, but a few of the many opportunities that are available.
You MUST be consistent in your job search. College students and adults are applying for the same jobs for which you apply, so you have to kick-it-up a notch. Bring your résumé, dress professionally, practice articulating your sales pitch about why an employer should hire you over other candidates. Caesar’s Entertainment (Harrah’s, Caesar’s, Showboat, Bally’s) **18 or older can apply for some the following jobs. For a job description, click on the clink of the position you are interested in. Make you READ the job postings carefully. The website says which property (casino) the jobs are located at.
- Retail Associates – Works in retail stores
- Beach Attendant

Also, if you are ages 16-21, you can apply for the 2013 Summer Youth Work Experience Program. I have applications in my office; however, you MUST have a hall pass from your teacher. You can also download the application and flyer from the links below. If you are 16 or 17, you will need a work permit from me to submit your application. Bring a pass to my office and I will issue you the work permit.
