Greetings!

With fewer job opportunities and few summer youth programs available for teens, Atlantic Cape Community College has an excellent alternative, fun, and exciting way for you to enjoy your summer.

What:  GEAR UP!!

When:  July 11th – August 18, 2016

Where:  Atlantic Cape Community College – Atlantic City Campus
1535 Bacharach Blvd, AC, NJ

Sign up events will be held at: Atlantic Cape’s AC Campus Cafeteria, 1535 Bacharach Blvd, AC, NJ

Attend FREE field trips, participate in hands-on math, science and language arts classes and select the GEAR UP Academy of your choice.  Choices include:

  • Science
  • Culinary Arts (Baking/Pastry)
  • Art
  • Engineering

Saturday Academy

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer Saturday Academy to our GEAR UP students beginning Oct 3rd.

You will have the opportunity to choose either Culinary Arts or Weird Science (a collection of chemistry, physics and biology experiments).

Classes are taught on ACCC’s Atlantic City campus. For more details, click on the link below.

OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS IN GRADES 5-12 AT GEAR UP TARGET SCHOOLS (Atlantic City High School, Pleasantville, Sovereign Avenue, MLK School Complex, Uptown Complex) *Transportation provided

A panel of 10 college students and military personnel from area colleges and universities will offer an innovative presentation to help prepare you for college admission and success.  This is the perfect opportunity to gain insight from current students and college graduates who have found success in their fields.
